Being part of an actual consulting project early in my undergrad gave me a glimpse into the consulting world, from understanding the client’s needs to contributing to strategic recommendations. After my time with Artemis, I wanted to bring what I’d learned to campus and share it with other students interested in consulting. This led to my founding of Santa Clara Strategy, our university’s case preparation club. We focus on helping students develop the core skills needed for consulting, like problem structuring, analytical thinking, and effective communication, with case prep sessions and workshops inspired by some of the frameworks I was introduced to during my fellowship. It’s been exciting to see others grow and become inspired to pursue consulting as well.

I feel so grateful for my Artemis fellowship for introducing me to consulting, plugging me into their network and collection of learnings, and teaching me how to truly problem solve and work strategically. I was exposed to more projects, people, clients, and tasks than I anticipated, and similarly, learned and developed more confidence and skills than expected.

The Artemis Connection Fellows program is unique in both how much responsibility and ownership fellows have from day one, and how much access to training Fellows have. The programming Fellows get - from an online skill-building course to weekly workshops, client ask-me-anythings, and coffee chats with Artemis team members - I've never seen in another summer internship program; I consider this an incredibly valuable opportunity.

The Artemis fellowship has been an incredibly enriching and rewarding journey. I’ve worked on a variety of exciting projects with different clients, formed meaningful new connections, gained insights into different industries/sectors and the world of consulting, and developed valuable professional skills. Not to mention the people at Artemis have all been extremely kind and supportive.
